ingredients
1/2 pound lean raw minced beef
1 heaped tablespoon finely chopped parsley
4 firm tomatoes, chopped
2 salad onions, finely chopped
salt and black pepper
1/2 pound back bacon, chopped
1/3 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon made mustard
1 egg
method
1. Preheat oven to moderately hot, 200°C (400°F).
2. Mix all ingredients well together and shape into a neat roll.
3. Wrap in foil and bake in centre of oven for 1 1/2 hours.
4. Serve hot or cold on lettuce, garnished with cucumber slices and pineapple pieces.
