method
1. Cream shortening and sugar together.
2. Beat eggs until light and add.
3. Press bananas through sieve and add lemon juice.
4. Blend with creamed mixture.
5. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and mix quickly into banana mixture.
6. Add nuts.
7. Bake in greased loaf pan in moderate oven (375° F.) about 1 1/4 hours.
