A warming digestif, made from a blend of creme de cacao, brandy and heavy cream, that can be served at the end of the meal with coffee.
ingredients
crushed ice
1 1/2 tbsp brandy
1 1/2 tbsp creme de cacao
1 1/2 tbsp heavy cream
whole nutmeg, grated, to decorate
method
1. Half fill the cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the brandy, creme de cacao and, finally, the cream.
2. Ensure the lid is screwed firmly in place and shake for about 20 seconds, to mix the ingredients together well.
3. Strain the chilled cocktail into a small wine glass.
4. Finely grate a little nutmeg over the top of the cocktail and serve at once.
