Broccoli is tossed in honeyed soy sauce and scattered with sesame seeds.
ingredients
serves 4
1 1/2 pound broccoli, cut into small florets and thick stems cut off, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil or peanut oil
1/2 teaspoon clear honey
1 level tablespoon sesame seeds, lightly toasted
method
1. Steam the broccoli for 5 minutes, or until cooked through but still hrm. Turn it into a serving dish.
2. Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, oil and honey, pour the mixture over the broccoli and toss well. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the broccoli and serve.
