2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
1 Savoy cabbage, shredded
1 teaspoon paprika
1 1/4 cups sour cream
method
1. Heat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Melt the butter or margarine in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and saute until the onion is soft.
3. Add the cabbage and stir. Cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Transfer the cabbage to an ovenproof dish. Stir the paprika into the sour cream and pour over the cabbage.
5. Add the caraway seeds if using. Bake for 20 minutes and serve hot.
