1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons oil
4 thick pork spare rib chops (country-style pork ribs)
1 tablespoon chilli sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons black molasses
1/2 teaspoon salt
method
1. Melt the butter with the oil in a frying-pan. Add the meat and brown on both sides.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour into the pan.
3. Bring to the boil, then cover the pan and cook gently, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.
