24 scallops in the half shell
marinade
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon dry sherry
2 scallions, finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
method
1. Preheat the oven to moderate 180°C (350°F). Place the scallops, in the shells, on a baking tray.
2. Combine the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and drizzle some of the mixture over each scallop.
3. Put the scallops on a baking tray and bake for 5 — 10 minutes, or until the scallops are tender and white.
