Iced coffee

ingredients

makes 4 glasses
1 level tablespoon cocoa
1 tablespoon cold water
4 level tablespoons ground coffee
3/4 cup boiling water
2 cups skimmed milk, well chilled
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 ice cubes

method

1. Mix the cocoa to a smooth paste in a cup with the cold water.

2. Stir the coffee with the boiling water in a small bowl and leave to stand for 5 minutes.

3. Strain the coffee through a sieve lined with kitchen paper into a blender or food processor. Add the cocoa, milk, vanilla and ice, and blend for 1 minute. Serve at once in tall glasses.
