ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 pound canned tomatoes
1/2 pound canned tuna fish, flaked
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons Seedless white raisins
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
method
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over moderate heat.
2. Fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent but not brown.
3. Stir in the curry powder and add the tomatoes, with the can juice, tuna, basil, Seedless white raisins or white raisins, salt and pepper.
4. Bring up to the boil then simmer gently for 10 minutes.
5. Turn the mixture into a warmed serving dish. Serve at once.
