Be sure to trim off any excess fat from the chops before cooking in the chutney mixture.
Delicious Neapolitan lamb chops can be served with baked jacket potatoes, cooked in the oven at the same time.
ingredients
serves 4
4 best end neck of lamb chops
3 tablespoons chutney
1 tablespoon clear honey
1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 tablespoon made mustard
1 beef stock cube
salt and pepper
method
1. Place the chops in a skillet.
2. Mix together the chutney, honey, herbs, mustard and the crumbled stock cube. Season and spoon half this mixture over the chops.
3. Fry the chops in their own fat for 15 minutes.
4. Turn chops over and spread them with the remaining mixture, cooking for a further 15 minutes.

To cook in the oven use a casserole dish, cover with a lid and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 1 hour, remove lid and cook for a further 15 minutes.
