Oysters en Brochette

ingredients

serves 6
30 large oysters
6 slices buttered toast
30 squares bacon

method

1. String oysters and bacon squares alternately on 6 skewers, taking care to put skewers through firm part of oysters.

2. Place across deep baking pan so that oysters hang down but do not touch bottom of pan.

3. Bake in very hot oven (475° F.) until bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes.

4. Place a skewer on each slice of toast and pour juice over.
