8 pork sausages
2 tablespoons butter
2 dessert apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1/2 teaspoon sugar
salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 ounce seedless green grapes
method
1. Fry the sausages until they are browned on all sides and cooked through. Drain on absorbent paper and keep warm.
2. Wipe out the frying-pan and melt the butter in it. Add the apples and sprinkle with the sugar and seasoning to taste.
3. Cook, stirring frequently, until the apples are tender. Add the grapes, mix well and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
4. Spread the apple mixture on the warmed serving platter and arrange the sausages on top.
