2 teaspoons oil
10 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons brown sugar
salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pound cooked turkey, diced
2 teaspoons tomato puree
2 teaspoons soy sauce
6 ounce carrot, grated
method
1. Heat the oil and half the water, then carefully add the vinegar, sugar and salt to taste. Bring to the boil.
2. Mix the cornstarch with the rest of the water and blend into the sauce. Bring back to the boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Add the cooked turkey, tomato puree, soy sauce and grated carrot and reheat carefully to boiling point. Simmer for 5 minutes.
